Sorry to hear of David's passing, but sadly inevitable for us all. I am just in the narrowboat that David helped his late friend Dennis Smith choose and fit out and we always think about David when we are on the boat. I met David a few times and he had a fantastic technical knowledge about everything to do with boats and beyond. I often think we could do with his help now when we get a problem. I remember if you rung him up at home he would always say David Stocker Harris which made us laugh because of his formality. Definitely one of the old school. Our condolences to his family.
